God’s Work, Our Hand: “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. This year’s event will be held on September 13. Past service projects have included delivering bread and goodies to local families, Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical Services personnel, cleaning up storm damage for families in need, Adopt-A-Highway, and serving at the food shelf.
Habitat for Humanity: Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of the international, nonprofit, Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness. For information on current projects, contact Scott Hall (218-828-8517 or restore*AT*lakesareahabitat.org).
