Save the date for Lord of Life’s Annual Meeting

Lord of Life is asking members of its congregation to save the date of Sunday, June 6th for its annual meeting.

This meeting provides the congregation with a look at the work Lord of Life has done, the Church’s budget and allows them to vote on issues.

In late May, a packet of information about the annual meeting, such as the agenda and reports from ministries, will be made available on Lord of Life’s website lolbaxter.org. Staff will be contacting groups this week to ask for these reports.

Additional information, including the time and location of the meeting will be posted soon.

For more information, contact the Church Office at (218) 828-9374.

Like and Share to send masks to Jamaica

An anonymous donor is challenging members of the Lord of Life Congregation and others to help spread its online presence, while also helping out those in need.

For every like or share on Lord of Life’s Facebook and Youtube Worship livestream posts, a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mask will be donated to Westhaven Children’s Home in Copse, Jamaica and Clifton Boys Home in Darlingston, Jamaica.

Westhaven provides care for children with special needs ranging from moderate to severe cases, while the Clifton Boys Home educates, provides Christian values and prepares boys age 8-18 for adulthood.

Both programs are partnered with Mission Jamaica, which Lord of Life was going to go on a Mission Trip with in 2020. While Lord of Life had to postpone that trip for the forseeable future, it is looking forward to helping provide much needed PPE equipment.
