Hello Friends,
This Fall Stewardship Campaign, we want to invite you to Live Free.
Free from the constant need to amass material possessions and free from being crushed under debt and bills.
Free to live life as Christ has called us, helping others and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Rather than being two separate issues, helping congregation members Live Free when it comes to money is key to meeting the financial needs of our many ministries.
What we hope to achieve can be summed up by the Bible passage 1 Timothy 6: 18-19:
“Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”
Therefore, starting October 24, we are going to be working with the Congregation to Live Free, while also showing the impact of you being free to help Lord of Life with its ministry goals.
This campaign will take the form of members of the Church Council sharing what’s on their hearts about our ministries, which includes education for our Confirmation students, small groups of our faith family supporting one another on the journey, and more.
Prior to the kickoff of our campaign, you can expect a letter with more information about how the money we are seeking to raise will be used. We will also include data showing how we believe Lord of Life can tackle this challenge as a Faith Family.
We invite you to reach out to the Generosity Team, or Communications Coordinator Tyler Jensen if you have questions or thoughts on the campaign.
God Bless you wherever you are,
The Lord of Life Generosity Team
