God is forming a community—a people who belong to one another because they belong to God. We do not create the Church by choosing one another; God creates the Church by choosing us. Before there is fellowship, there is reconciliation in Christ. Before there is community, there is grace. Belonging is not something we earn or manufacture—it is God’s gift, received in Christ and lived out in practices of worship, hospitality, generosity, forgiveness, and shared life. May you discover the richness of our life together in Christ as you spend time in God’s Word and with God’s people this week through their stories, their faith, their struggles and their joys and may you know that you belong and are beloved.
