Treasure Trove Thursday – Exclusive sale event LIMITED to 50 people. Shop without crowds and get first pick. Thursday, May 10th, 5-7pm ONLY. Cost is $10.00 per person. Children under the age of 12 are free with a paid adult. Tickets will be on sale at the church office starting Monday, May 7th, 8 am-5pm or at the door if any tickets are still left.
Camp Journey – This camp provides support and connections for children ages 7-18 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Camp Journey is held at Confidence Learning Center, and takes place May 18-20. There is no cost for this weekend. There is a limit for the number of campers and it will be on a first come basis. If you are interested there are registration forms in the Narthex.
Vigil of Pentecost Prayer Concert – This is an Ecumenical Prayer Concert bringing together area church musicians to celebrate the Vigil of Pentecost. The concert is a musical journey through Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. Music is the universal language bringing us together on this feast considered the “birthday of the church.” This concert will be held on May 19, 2018 at
7:30 pm at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. This is a free concert and a free-will offering will be taken.
Women of the ELCA Gathering – Join the Women of the ELCA for the 31st Annual Convention/Gathering at Sugar Lake Lodge on Monday, June 4-Wednesday, June 6. Registration forms are in the Narthex or in the April Newsletter. Registration deadline is May 15.
Art Work Fundraiser for the ELCA Youth Gathering – Kathy Blake has donated artwork, which is currently on display in the Commons. Each can be purchased with a donation to the Synod Journey/ELCA Youth Gathering mission trip fund. Questions? Contact Anne Laechel at 828-9374 or anne@lolbaxter.org.
Spring Clothing Share – Friday & Saturday, May 18 & 19, from 9 am-3 pm. This event is open to the public and all items of clothing are free.

- Donations of all gently worn adult and children’s clothing can be dropped off Tuesday – Thursday from 9 am – 5 pm.

- We are also in need of hangers and hanging clothing racks (you will get back). Volunteers are needed during the week for folding or hanging items and during the Giveaway. Look for volunteer sign ups soon.

Senior Recognition – Lord of Life will recognize our High School Seniors in worship at 6 pm on Wednesday, May 16; 9:00 am and 10:30 am on Sunday, May 20. Come and celebrate with them and bless them as they conclude their high school journey and head off on new adventures!

from 10:15 am to 11:00 am. Join the Lord of Life family as we meet to:
- Celebrate 2017 milestones.
- Review 2017 Activity Reports from Pastors, Officers and Teams.
- Review 2017 Financial Reports.
- Elect 2018-2019 Officers, Council and Team Members.
- Adopt the 2018-2019 budget.
All confirmed members in good standing are eligible to attend, participate and vote.
Summer Worship hours – will start Sunday, May 27 with one service at 9 am.The Wednesday service will be at 6:00 pm.
