Dear Church – A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the U.S. — New Book Discussion Group Starting at Lord of Life
Our country and world are wrestling with questions of racism and injustice. It is time for us to open our heart and mind to considering the prejudicial treatment people of color have experienced for centuries and to this very day in these United States of America. How should we respond? How might our church respond?
Lolly Kalinoski and Darrell Pedersen will be leading a Zoom discussion of this book on Sundays, 10:45 a.m., beginning October 11th. This will be a chance to consider and discuss our own reactions to the horrific acts of racism and ensuing protests in recent months. And of our own denomination’s embrace of all the other folks with non-European roots who share this country with us. Books are available online from or Amazon. To sign up for the class, please text or call Lolly at 218-829-8207. or call +1 312 626 6799 Meeting ID: 894 5315 5690.  Hope to see you there
