Caring Friends – will be selling their freshly made Lefse after Worship Service today, Sunday, November 18.
The Cold and Snow are Here – We are looking for volunteers to help with shoveling our sidewalks at Lord of Life. This helps keep our snow removal costs down. Volunteers will take a one-week slot and shovel the sidewalks twice a day if it snows. If you would like to help with this please mark your Connection Cards.
Thanksgiving Eve Worship Services – will be Wednesday, November 21 at 12 pm and 7 pm. There will be no Wednesday supper or youth activities that night.
LOLLY (Lots of Living Left Yet) – Will meet Wednesday, November 21 for a potluck at 11:15. There will be no program that day. Join us for the Worship Service at 12 pm.
Church Office Closed – The Church Office will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23.
Prayer Chain In-service – Our next in-service will be Sunday, December 2 at 10:30 am or Wednesday, December 5 at 7:00 pm. We require a commitment of each member to attend at least one prayer chain in-service during a 12-month period. For more information or to join this group, please come to our next in-service.

The Sunday Evening Book Group – will meet at 6:30 tonight, November 18, in the library at Northern Lakes Senior Living, 8186 Excelsior Road. We will study Psalm 124. You are invited and bring the kids.
Mutual Fund Donations – Thank you to those who have donated gifts of stock/mutual funds to Lord of Life via Stifel. When donating stock/mutual funds, please notify Anne Laechel (email@example.com; 828-9374) of your
gift so that we can watch for its arrival, process the sale and give you proper tax credit.
Faithful Mothers – Will meet on the first and third Wednesdays at Lord of Life from 10 am to 11:30 am. Childcare is provided. If you would like more information please mark your Connection Cards.
New Members 101 Class – This class is for those interested in membership at Lord of Life and those seeking more information on Lord of Life’s mission and ministries. This is a one-night event and attendance is required by all who wish to become members of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Tuesday, December 11 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm is our next class. Men – Mark Your Calendars – The Men’s Retreat will be held on February 22-23 at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd.
Gifts Encouraged for the Seminarian Fund – We have a generous member who has agreed to match all donations given to the Seminarian Scholarship Fund up to $1,000. You can double your gift by sending it in at this time. Donations will be used to support any child of this congregation who goes on to attend seminary with the intention of serving as a rostered minister in the church.
Trunk or Treat Thank You! – Thanks to everyone who participated in Trunk or Treat. It was a huge success with over 300 kids served. That said, we could have used another half-dozen cars. Next year we hope that you’ll consider participating.
Did you know? – That Lord of Life is providing regular pastoral ministry to Northern Lakes care facility. Currently we are responsible for leading a communion service on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. We will be scaling back to once a month and sharing the responsibility with Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa.
Help Congregational Life provide the very basic dignities of new undies! We will be collecting new, packaged underwear, socks and bras in sizes for all ages and genders. We would also accept baby onesies and baby socks. There will be an underwear drawer in the Narthex and we will be collecting the whole month of November!
