Worship Assistant Trainings: The new Worship Assistant schedule will begin in February. There will be a training in the sanctuary immediately after the 9 am service and 10:30 am service on Jan 27. You will be introduced to your team that you will serve with.
Pancake Breakfast – Join us for a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 3, at 9:45 am. This a free will donation and fundraiser for the youth going on the mission trip this summer.

Red Cross Blood Drive – Lord of Life will have a blood drive Friday, February 22, from 12 pm-5 pm. Walk-ins are welcome or you can make an appointment at redcrossblood.org.
Men In Mission Retreat – Saturday, February 23, 8 am to 4:30 pm at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. The keynote speaker on Saturday is Rev. Dr. Mark Tranvik, Professor of Religion at Augsburg University. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration information is at the Welcome Center or by emailing nelutheranmen@gmail.com. Cost is $40 for registration and meal and $30 for first time attendees and students.
The Cold and Snow are Here – We are looking for a volunteer to help with shoveling our sidewalks at Lord of Life the week of February 10. This helps keep our snow removal costs down. Volunteers will take a one-week slot and shovel the sidewalks twice a day if it snows. If you would like to help with this email the church office at colleen@lolbaxter.org.
Nuts and Bolts and a Few Loose Screws Workshop – Tools for your congregational toolbox. Saturday, March 16, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Cloquet, MN. Who should attend? People of all ages who want to learn about what is going on with new and ongoing initiatives in our synod.
