2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat – Come dressed in costume on Wednesday, October 30th between 4-7pm and trick-or-treat from car to car in the Lord of Life parking lot. Each vehicle will be decorated in a family-friendly theme and passing out candy or goodies. We will also have s’mores and a bounce house. Grief Support Group at – A grief Support Group will be starting at Lord of Life on Monday, October 21 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in the Fireside Room. This is open to anyone that has suffered the loss of a loved one or any other type of significant loss. Lord of Life Work Day – Mark your calendars and join us for our Property Work Day on Saturday, October 26 from 8:30 am to 12 pm. There will be both indoor and outdoor projects to help with. Sign up in the Narthex for a project that you would like to do that day or a day that works for you.
LOLLY (Lots of Living Left Yet) – will meet on Wednesday, October 16, at 11:30 am for a potluck lunch in Fellowship Hall. The October speaker is Margo Jordan, from Humana. Margo will talk about getting older and how it can be stressful, and how understanding your body changes can help ease your mind. She will help you discover ways to boost your physical, emotional and spiritual health so you can have a healthier and happier life. Reformation Sunday – Wear red on Wednesday, October 23 or Sunday, October 27, for Reformation Sunday worship services.

All Saints Photo Display – In honor of All Saints Day, at the worship services on October 30 and November 3 you are invited to bring a photo (framed or unframed) to display as a part of our worship time. This is a time to remember those who have died during the previous year, but also to celebrate the lives and influences of all saints living or passed who have, through their daily life, shown others the Christian walk and faith. Simply bring your photo to the worship service you are attending to place with the display during the service, and bring it back home with you or label it to be picked up at a later date.
Membership 201 session – is available for those seeking more information about the Lutheran Church. If you have been confirmed in an ELCA Lutheran Church and will be transferring your membership from an ELCA Lutheran Congregation, it is not necessary for you to attend these classes; however, you are highly encouraged to do so. 3rd Grade Bible Class – Will be offered on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. Dates of the classes will be November 3, 10 & 17. Bibles will be handed out on Sunday, November 24 at both services.

They use both words and deeds to express Christ’s care for others – listening and comforting, calling on the training they have received and employing the tools of faith. Caring for Creation What Could It Look Like in Your Congregation? Monday, October 28, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:30 pm. (Supper at 5:30p.m. for those who wish to stay.) Hosted by Lutheran Church of the Cross, Nisswa Facilitated by members of the EcoFaith Network’s Leadership Team. Participants from congregations will share their experience, learn from each other and grow together in witnessing to God’s passionate love for the whole creation in our whole ministry.
