New Member Orientation 101 – If you are looking for a church home, Lord of Life offers a New Member Orientation 101 class. These classes are for those interested in membership at Lord of Life and those seeking more information on Lord of Life’s mission and ministries. The Lakes Area Music Festival – has many concert opportunities coming up for the month of August. You can see a full list by visiting their website at lakesareamusic.org. For these events no tickets are required and donations will be accepted in lieu of ticket fees.
- The Lakes Area Music Festival’s annual family concert will take place at Tornstrom Auditorium on Sunday, August 5 at 2pm. LAMF’s all-star roster will present beloved works for kids of all ages, including Carnival of the Animals and Peter and the Wolf.
- On Wednesday, August 8 at 7pm at Tornstrom Auditorium the organization will presents Café Music. Professional musicians from around the world will perform chamber music by Poulenc, Schoenfeld, and Haydn.
- On Saturday, August 11 at 7pm and Sunday, August 12 at 2pm at Tornstrom Auditorium, the Lakes Area Music Festival will present its third annual ballet: Appalachian Spring in collaboration with the St. Paul Ballet.
