Friends of Baxter School – Would you like to make a difference? Everyday there are kids in our community that could use a little extra help. Lord of Life would like to partner with Baxter Elementary to provide classroom volunteers to help in lots of ways. Volunteering would be at your convenience, for as long as you are able, and as often as you’d like. If you are interested, please contact Principal Tammy Stellmach at 454-6400 for more information. Check out ISD181.org – click on community education and volunteering to fill out the volunteer form. Would you rather help at another school? Please contact Sally Jacobsen at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make it happen!

When hospitalized – When St. Joseph’s Medical Center admits a patient, they ask what religious denomination the person belongs to – not the name of a specific church. If you say “Lutheran” we will not be notified. If hospitalized, please say you are from Lord of Life Lutheran so that a Pastor may visit.
Help us be good stewards – Did you know that your mailbox makes a great place to store a coffee mug? Here at Lord of Life we would like to reduce the use of disposable cups for coffee and other drinks. You are encouraged to consider bringing a mug and storing it in your mailbox during the week.
Do it all in the Name of Jesus – Stephen Ministers bring distinctively Christian care to those in need. They use both words and deeds to express Christ’s care for others – listening and comforting, calling on the training they have received and employing the tools of faith. If this job description fits your personal goals for ministry, consider becoming a Stephen Minister. A training class is starting soon. For more information, please contact Deb Bergstrom, (701)678-4053 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Lolly Kalinoski, (218)829-8207 or email@example.com.
