March is Minnesota Food Share Month – It’s time to “Pack the Pews” and bring non-perishable food or financial donations, which will go directly to local food shelves. Bring your donations to the Sanctuary on Sunday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 18.
Blood Pressure Screenings – Sunday, March 15 from 10 am to 10:30 am in Fellowship Hall. Screening will be done by our Parish Nurse, Deb Bergstrom.

We Need Your Talent for Hotdish & Hoopla on Sunday, March 22! We are looking for people of all ages to participate in this event. If you want to sing, dance, play an instrument, tell some jokes or juggle, or any other talent you have, sign up in the Narthex.

Wednesdays at 12:00 pm During Lent – Join us during Lent where we will have a short worship service at 12:00 pm followed by a simple soup and bread meal. At each noon service, one member of the congregation will share their answer to the question, “Why Jesus?” They have been asked to reflect on two guiding questions as they consider their testimony: why are you a Christian, and in what way has Jesus made a difference in your life? Please come and be blessed by the faith stories of others and the communion of participating in a meal. Dates will be March 11, 18, 25 and April 1.

Anne Lamott’s book HALLELUJAH ANYWAY: Rediscovering Mercy will be an excellent companion throughout the season of Lent. Our Lenten theme this year is Stripes Toward Healing – But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 2020 EcoFaith Summit Now The Green Blade Rises: The Easter Gospel for the Whole Creation – Saturday, March 28, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brainerd. 9:00 am registration and coffee-Summit goes from 9:30 am– 3:30 pm. Pizza Ranch Fundraiser – Come have supper with us on Monday, March 30 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Pizza Ranch. All the tips and 10% of the sales for the evening will go towards the Tanzania Mission Trip in June.
Volunteers Needed! We are looking for volunteers to help with cleaning up the pews after our Wednesday service. This would include picking up bulletins left behind, straightening Bibles, making sure hand sanitizers are filled. Times and days of doing this are flexible.
