Service Learning Camps Is New To Lord of Life
This is the first year we will be partnering with Service Learning Camps. Here is some information we have received regarding their site and experience in San Diego.
Service Learning Camps San Diego
Our Service Learning Camps are designed to engage youth and leaders in meaningful service learning experiences based in Ocean Beach and throughout the surrounding beach and urban communities of San Diego.
Each group partners with local organizations rooted in justice, environmental care, and compassion-driven community work while fostering reflection, community building, and personal growth—and a whole lot of SoCal fun.
Groups also enjoy time experiencing the local culture: from playing on the beach and catching waves, to exploring tide pools, local parks, and iconic coastal spots that make San Diego such a vibrant and memorable place to serve and learn—living up to its nickname, “The Finest City in America.”
ELCA National Youth Gathering
