Greetings to the Lord of Life Family,
I pray this message reaches you in good health and spirit as we embrace the fall season.
Our church council gathered for a busy meeting on September 23rd. I’m excited to share that during our special meeting on Sunday, September 22nd, we officially approved the 2024-25 budget. We deeply appreciate your continued support, thoughtful feedback, generous gifts, and patience throughout this process. Your dedication to Lord of Life means so much to all of us.
We also had the privilege to hear an insightful presentation from our Columbarium Team, who shared plans for the installation of a columbarium on our church property. The council was impressed with the time, care, and dedication the team put into this project, and we were pleased to approve it. Work is set to begin this fall. The council will also review the team’s recommendations regarding rules and procedures. This columbarium will be a beautiful addition to our church community. It’s important to note that all funds for this project were generously raised by the Columbarium Team, and there is a plan in place for future maintenance and landscaping needs.
We are also excited to welcome 11 new members and families to Lord of Life! We invite you to introduce yourselves and connect with our council – we are eager to get to know each of you.
As your church council, our responsibility is to listen to and represent you, the members of Lord of Life. We have been actively gathering feedback from the congregation and are continuously working on addressing the concerns and ideas you’ve shared with us. We will keep you informed of our progress and any updates as they become available.
