Peer Ministry Leadership Training
Saturday, September 21, 2024 – 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Peer Ministry Leadership (PML) Training is for …
STUDENTS to be equipped with skills for caring, welcoming and affirming – lived every day, everywhere, in every relationship! Loving, as Christ first loved us!
ADULTS to be equipped to facilitate future PML Training and to model and mentor the skills taught! Loving, as Christ first loved us!
Peer Ministry Leadership Training is an all day training for those leading and supporting youth ministry, plus key high school youth to build an infrastructure for a thriving student leadership program and a growing, healthy youth ministry.
At a time when young people feel increasingly lonely and distant from others and God, PML Training offers a way to connect face-to-face and heart-to-heart and to learn the skills for living in relationship well! There maybe has never been a more important time for this training!!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Anderson Brothers Family Fund in Brainerd, MN, Lord of Life is able to host this training with Peer Ministry guru Lyle Griner and invite you to a day of learning and growing!
Ideally, we invite you to send a team of adults and high school youth from your congregation, but this is also excellent training for Confirmation guides, small group leaders, Sunday School volunteers, and leaders of all sorts in your congregation.
Cost
The cost to attend is $25 per person and includes lunch and a PDF copy of the Peer Ministry Training Manual sent to you via email. If you would like a printed copy of the Peer Ministry Training manual, you may print a copy from the PDF or order a color copy with a binder for $25, to be picked up at the event.
