Did you know that Lord of Life partners with First Lutheran Church’s ministry to give people in need a warm meal on Sundays before the Warming Shelter opens?
Several Sundays a year, Ruth Nelson leads a team to make these dinners happen. This Sunday, December 14th, she is looking for people to help by preparing two pans of bars and two simple salads. Dinner is served at 5 pm, with volunteers asked to be present from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. If you can’t make it, you can also drop off your item on Sunday, just mark it for the dinner.
