We are understaffed at this time: This may result in temporary interruptions of things that you have come to expect from us. Worship slides, prayerLIFE@12:45 videos are two examples. As time goes on, there may be more. We regret when those interruptions occur and together we look forward to the day when the staff will be able to consistently provide them again. In the meanwhile, we thank you for your patience and understanding.

VBS – family style! Get ready for Compassion Camp – an opportunity to explore the truth that you are loved, called to be kind, and created to be wonderfully YOU. You’ll be given everything you need to dig into this wonderful theme – along with some videos by Goldie, great ideas to serve your neighbors, and creating a large art project. Over the course of two weeks – beginning on Sunday, July 19th, you’ll have four wonderful lessons on compassion! A truly fitting theme for right now! You can do the lessons four days in a row – or spread them out. Visit https://lolbaxter.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/114/responses/new to sign up!
Stories for Change: Monday, July 6, launches a new ministry at LOL called Stories for Change. Each Monday morning a children’s story is read out loud and will be posted on our Facebook page along with a discussion video led by Guy Kelm. The children’s book will focus on issues of discrimination and race. We will learn more about our history and be invited to have courageous conversations about how we, as people of faith, can both live in and help create a better and more just world.
