3rd Week of Advent – The Gift of Hope-Hope is a word on which our future rests. We cannot know what will come, but with faith we place our hope in Christ. Like Zechariah, we hope for the tender mercy of our God, light in the midst of darkness and death, and the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of our sins.

A Service for Grief and Hope – Join us Monday, December 17th at 6:30pm for a Service for Grief and Hope. While Advent is a season of hope and Christmas is a season of joy, we don’t all feel hopeful or like celebrating. So let’s gather together to provide a time and place of solace during this frenetic time surrounding the celebration of Christmas.

Wear Your Holiday/Ugly Sweater – On Wednesday, December 19 or Sunday, December 23.
Christmas Eve Office Hours – The church office will be open until 12 pm on Monday, December 24.

The Giving Tree – Our giving tree is up and ready for your handmade scarves, hats and mittens. If you would like to help fill our tree, we have yarn available in the Narthex. If you are not a knitter and would like to donate store bought scarves, hats and mittens, we will gladly take them. If you are a Teacher or if you know of someone that could use hats, mittens and scarves this winter, please take the item(s) off our Giving Tree and take the items to them or let them know about our Giving Tree at LOL.
