Stephen Ministry – We celebrate the commissioning of eight caring members of our congregation. They have the spiritual gifts to be Stephen Ministers, and they have participated in 50 hours of training, learning how to carry out this ministry. Wendy Adamson, Deb Cervantez, Pam Cook, Julie Johnson, and Gary Engelmann are the first Stephen Ministers to be commissioned here at Lord of Life. Deb Bergstrom, Lolly Kalinoski, and Pastor Erika Nilsen, who were commissioned previously as Stephen Leaders and together provided the training, will now also be commissioned as Stephen Ministers alongside their students. Let us pray for the success of this caring ministry that they bring to our community.
Thank you – to everyone that helped with the property work day on Saturday, June 15. We mulched, pruned, planted, weeded, washed windows and fixed the pew racks. All your hard work is greatly appreciated!
